Chile Con Carne

A hearty and warming stew combining seasoned ground beef and pork with beans, roasted tomatoes, and fresh vegetables, slowly simmered to perfection with Adriana's signature chile blend.
  • 30 grams (3 TB) Adrianas Adobo Chile Mix
  • 454 grams (1 Lb) of mixed ground beef & pork
  • 3 TB vegetable oil
  • 1 Litre water (4 cups)
  • 1 cup cooked beans of preferred variety (can beans is a good and easy option)
  • 1 cup canned roasted tomatoes
  • 1/2 cup corn kernels
  • 1/2 shredded carrots
  • Garnish optional: Sour cream, cheese and cilantro

Directions:

  1. Heat oil in a medium size pot. Brown meat mixture together with Adriana’s Adobo Chile Mix. Aadd water and bring to boil.
  2. Add the beans, tomatoes, corn kernels an shredded carrots and mix all.
  3. Reduce heat to medium low and simmer uncovered for 35-40 until all ingredients are completely mixed
  4. Taste and season with sea salt if necessary.
  5. Serve in a bowl and garnish with the optional ingredients: Sour cream, cheese and cilantro
